Tony Cottee
New website has been started up at work where we get an ex footballer in each week, do a little interview and they then give their betting predictions each week.

This week, we finally have a West Ham player coming in (not couinting Nigel Winterburn) in Tony Cottee.

He'll be in our offices tomorrow lunch time, any good questions you want answering, get them in here and I'll try get as many asked as possible!

Full video will be posted on the website:

askfans.co.uk and also all over social media.

Cheers,
Wanstead

Re: Tony Cottee
Have you actually retired from playing? Isn't it a bit early?

"He" [Stanley Matthews] played his final game of football for an England Veterans XI against a Brazil Veterans XI in Brazil in 1985 at the age of 70; the English lost 6–1 to the likes of Amarildo, Tostão, and Jairzinho. He damaged his cartilage during the match: "a promising career cut tragically short", he wrote in his autobiography.

How does he get on with the rest of the Boys of 86?
Are there any of them he thinks is a cunt?

And has he ever had sloppy seconds after a night out with Frank Macavennie?

Re: Tony Cottee
Is that right? I thought size was a more modern issue for managers like BFS? Small nimble forwards and midfielders were surely more plentiful back in the old days?

Re: Tony Cottee
Was he surprised being put into the West ham team so young, because of his height as it was back in a time where most managers were mostly interested in tall players, especially strikers.

Re: Tony Cottee
Just before you retired, you had to brief cameo spells at Millwall and Barnet. Though no doubt there was a desire to continue playing, was their any weird feelings about playing for Millwall?
